Perlick vs. Intertap

Post #1 by tekknofobia2 » 10 months ago

Does anyone in this crowd have any experience with perlick with flow control and intertap with flow control faucets? Perlick is priced a little higher. Is it a brand name price difference or is there extra quality one pays for? Has anyone used these side by side? I'm looking to build at least 2 maybe 3 tap system. I'm not sure if I should buy one of each and based on my experience with it add one that I like to the system later on. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I currently have two perlicks and one intertap all with flow control.

Intertap- feels clunky opening and closing but has a more solid feel to it. Can change spouts so it can be used for stouts or has a nice growler filler spout.

Perlick- more play opening and closing.

My preference is the intertap but i have only been using it for a month

Here is my setup. Intertap has stout spout on. And is the middle one.

Yes, my Intertap is the same way. I thought I over tightened something but apparently not.

Thank you guys. This is exactly what I was looking for. I am itching to buy one of each and see the difference myself. Cheers
