Custom printed pint glasses?
Custom printed pint glasses?
Hey, does anybody here know of a Canadian company that does small-scale printing on pint glasses? Preferably in Edmonton but I am also willing to pay a shipping fee if anyone has a good recommendation elsewhere.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
I'd be interested as well, though I'm kinda far from Edmonton!
Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
I checked the internet a few weeks ago and couldn't find a Canadian store either. It would be nice to have my own home brewery glasses to serve guests.
Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
I don't know of a Canadian supplier. All of the microbreweries around here seem to use Grandstand (based in Kansas). I'm assuming if there were a cheaper or Canadian option, they'd use that, but instead they all use Grandstand, so I'm guessing that's your best option.
Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
Our club got a bunch of nice 20oz glasses done up a while back, but the smallest amount we could get was 144 (boxes of 6).

Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
They can be done in Canada.
The problem is the minimums as Jeff mentioned above.
There will be a set-up charge and possibly a charge to Vector your image.
Try searching "Promotional glassware" you should trip over something.

Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
I found this site,
http://www.promotionalproductscanada.com
They seem to have some glassware that you can get in reasonable quantities, and probably under $300 for 48 glasses.
Still kind of pricey, but if you really want the look, I think it could work,

Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
Many trophy/emblem/stitching places have glass etchers (or whatever the process is called) and can do images through CorelDraw or PhotoShop. Call around the city and I'm sure you'll find something. I had some glasses done for our anniversary a few years ago and had them made in little Cochrane.

Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
Like Brent said, if you just want some lettering etched onto the glass, this can be done easily at a local mom and pop style operation. You probably don't even need an image.
There are many more options availible. But $$$.
I work in a related industry I will see if I can get a source to post.

Re: Custom printed pint glasses?
This is a late post, but I wanted to mention that pretty much any local shop that does work like trophies, awards, engraving, prints, signs, etc would have the equipment to do this. Most of these shops would have a laser engraving machine. My local shop said it's cheaper to just grab some smooth faced glasses that you like from Walmart or a dollar store and bring them in. The only warning I had was to look for imperfections like bubbles in the glass because they _will_ explode.
