Wheat beer not setlling

Post by Chokin »

I'm new to all grain brewing.
It's fun.
I have a question about a wheat beer I made.
I dosent seem to be settleing out.
It's been 3 weeks today since I brewed the beer. Should I just wait longer?
Should I rack them again and wait.
Or do I get a thicker straw?
THANKS!

Wheat beers traditionally are cloudy. So are you referring to fermentation, or after packaging? What yeast?

Quick tips: Racking to a second vessel only helps clarifying and is usually unnecessary, but if done minimize oxygen contact.

Most wheat beer yeast are not very floculent and only time clears these beers.
In the fermentor: Golden Sour, Not a Pill v2
Tap 1: Puck that Filsner; Berliner Weisse
Tap 2: Not a Pill; Lager
Tap 3: Paddockwood Kolsch
Tap 4:

Sorry I thought I did.
Unfortunately I can't remember the strain of yeast.
The fermentation is in my carboys

Error parsing server response.
I'm on a mobile device could that be the problem.
Thanks for the great support. I think I'm going to like it here

NP... interesting... if you can screenshot the error code and email it to admin@canadianhomebrewers.com that'd be very helpful!

Note: I fixed the problem. After the recent migration to a new server, I forgot to increase the file size upload limit on the web server....which explains why it worked sometimes but not others. Sorry everyone!
