Bulk prime a Coopers kit.

Post by joconn » 5 years ago

I will be bottling a Coopers draught in a few days. The kit is the Original Series brewed to about 20L with a kilo of light dme and 250g corn sugar. The pamphlet supplied with the kit covers bottle priming using 750ml bottles but no instruction concerning bulk priming which I want to do.
Looking for advice on how much cs to use.
Joe.

You could try a calculator like this one http://www.tastybrew.com/calculators/priming.html

I used to just add 1-1.25 cups corn sugar and most times it was ok. I now use a calculator as above and weigh it out as opposed to measuring cups, this is far more accurate
