totally stupid or uninformed

Post by ruf1 » 3 years ago

As you know, i sell rhizomes to forum members,i sold 3 cascade to a guy on feb 18,on may 9th he makes a claim to paypal for his money back stating that i sold him mint..LOL

I provided paypal overwhelming evidence that this was not the case,i forwarded private msg chats between myself and YOU,the forum members chatting about sales and payments, shipping, etc, etc. Your personal info was not given to paypal, only your screen name was provided in chats.

I received the info yesterday that due to the unique circumstances of this sale,we at paypal have decided in favour of the buyer,I said,WTF, are you kidding me?

paypal chose to refund this clowns money and NOT debit my account.LOL

I dont know what kind of joker would claim that he got mint instead of rhizomes ??

I even went to a garden centre and got a sprig of mint and provided a pic of one of my rhizomes emerging from the soil next to the mint, two quite different looking plants.

Anyway, the joker got refunded and i retained payment for the 3 cascades,WTF ?????

Thank You All for the orders and hope to provide quality rhizomes again next year.

Rhizome sales are now closed for 2015.

thx again everyone.

Yup, that's what happens when you have customers... That's what I'm a little afraid of once my brewery gets going - I'm targetting mainly restaurants and they're even worse...

But to your story: What a douche...

Unrelated, but within the topic parameters:

Some people are just out for free things, or free money.
I just purchased the box set of Breaking Bad dvds on ebay (Amazon's nunavut shipping rates are unreal), and what does the bugger do? Deletes his account on ebay as soon as he has the money, and eBay wont cover this transaction in their Guarantee Protection, and neither will Paypal help me out.

Moral of the story: Always be wary when making online transactions :(
I've never understood the policy against "necro threads" on almost every forum. Why tell us to use the search function for a particular topic, then complain when an older thread has a new post in it?

Gah, that sucks. :( I've only been burned once on eBay, to the tune of $35 USD, thankfully. But it was enough to convince me never to buy from anyone with less than 1,000 ratings, or less than 95% positive feedback.

Right on the money venari,to sell an item to a person and then cancell the account is robbery,i hope you find some recourse to recover your money.

PAYPAL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES :kicknuts:

AND TO EBAY :kicknuts:

Wait, what kind of "mint" are we talking now?

Wasn't there a thread a while ago about brewing with "mint"?
