Best doc in Toronto for a vasectomy?

Post by kombat »

I'm not sure this board's demographic is the best one to answer this question, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I have a relative who lives in Toronto and is considering undergoing a vasectomy. I'd like to recommend a doctor to him, but I don't know anything about the vasectomy "scene" in Toronto.

I live in Ottawa, and I understand that in this neck of the woods, Dr. Ronald Weiss is the "go-to" guy. He's been doing it for decades, has around 40,000 procedures under his belt, and uses the "no-needle, no-scalpel" procedure that is quick and has a short recovery time. I'm basically looking for Toronto's version of Dr. Weiss.

Any suggestions?

I think the old days of being laid up in pain is past. I had to get a referral from my Dr to see the surgeon and get the snip done - I was back to work in a couple days no problem, was in and out in 30min.

Seems to me the order of pint and vasectomy is backwards there ;)

LOL Actually I stopped in before and after. Seemed the female bartender at the Pub is quite familiar with guys stopping in before going next door.

Before and after sounds more appropriate!
