Beer Making Software

Post #1 by Tom » 2 years ago

Hi I download Beertarget and BrewersFriend software.

I put in a recipe I got online. The IBUs and Abv are different from the online recipe. Both softwares come up with different numbers. Does anyone know a good free software for home brewing. I am most happy with beertarget so far. I would hope it has reliable numbers.

It can be a bit daunting at first but once you play around with it a bit its not as bad as it looks. It is very accurate and detailed.

personally I like Beersmith. BIABacus is very good but sure could use a graphic interface. using a spreadsheet seems so yesterday. It is also very hard to manage on an iPad

I was looking for a download of this BIAB but couldnt find it. I am interested in making a beer with 6 abv and ibu of about 35 to 45. Know any good recipes?

Anyone ever buy from OntarioBeerKegs.com

if you BIAB the BIABACUS is the way to go, plug in figures and go, its a custom program just for BIAB brewing- Ontario Beer Kegs is excellent to deal with. There is a ton of recipes what type beer do you want to make

I always order from OBK. Great service!!!
Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
