Help creating an equipment kit

Post #1 by comdias » 1 year ago

Hi guys,

I used to brew in 3 vessels, using propane in the past.
But I recently moved to an apartment in Toronto and really need to find a way to brew.

Do you guys have any suggestion of equipment I could take a look?

My initial thoughts are:

1) Make an electric kettle and do BIAB.
2) Buy something like Grainfather.

As I'm new in town, I'm not sure how or even if I can hook an heather into my apartment.

If you have any suggestion/tip, I appreciate.

cheers!

For apartment brewing I would for sure be looking towards 110volt BIAB.
There are a ton of options out there from DIY to ready made

The Grainfather is one of them but there are many more out there.

Why couldn't one buy one of those stainless conical fermentors, install a heating element and use it for mash, boil cooling and fermentation without transfering?

I believe you can... there is even a market for that
https://brewhaequipment.com/products/bi ... em-package
I believe that's an interesting setup for homebrewers with limited space

I'm thinking why even bother with 3 vessels unless it it less efficient or lower quality product is made.

This is a nice apartment size system.
