fermcap s for degassing wine?

Post #1 by wheatking brewer » 4 years ago

I was wondering if anyone has used fermcap s while degassing wine? would it be a good idea or should I just save it for my wort boils.

I don't think that will help your wine.
Firmcap s is a food safe silicone that creates an area of clear surface on the boiling beer to stop it from boiling over
