I have a 17 year old fridge that I only use for carbing up kegs. I shut if off 3 weeks ago because it was empty. I opened it up today to carb up a keg and the door and all 3 walls plus the bottom up to the small freezer were covered with mold. It was bad. Soap and javex took it away though. So what now? When it is unused, do I just leave the door open? I just cleaned it a few weeks ago but I only used dish soap and no javex. Reminded me of that tv show where the 2 ladies cleaned really dirty homes. This fridge sits 1 meter from where I ferment beer.
