I've constantly got a blonde SMaSH on tap here, simple or "boring", but great for hot days, and cheap. Also good for trying new hops. I just had a nickelbrook "immodest" iipa that had a really surprising hop flavour I've not noticed before. So my next brew will be 9# 2row with 1oz Simcoe hops, just to see how they fare on their own. Then, I'll throw an IPA on that yeast cake.
Fermenting: Irish Stout, Ciderale!
Serving: Oktoberfest, Immodest Clone
Up next: Black IPA, Maple Porter

A few days ago, I brewed another saison, with this one being more hoppy and a bit funkier. I also used orange blossom honey and oats. I used the whitelabs farmhouse blend to get a bit of funk character in there. I also used whole cone EKG as FWH and as aroma hops at the end of the boil. Equinox was used as finishing / aroma as well and the dry hop will consist of equinox and mandarina bavaria. I'm going for a dry fruity slightly sour slightly funky summer saison. If the yeast does what it's supposed to do, it should finish at a comfortable 6-6.5%. :stirpot:

My last saison ended at 8%ABV. The alcohol is dangerously well hidden so it really hits you in the sun.

Brewing a Steam Beer. I just recently got back from San Francisco and had Anchor Steam beer on draught. Fantastic.

Just brewed a "helles wheat", half to radler, half to enjoy as-is.

Good. I do prefer German Pils malt over 2 row though.
