Brewing a German Amber Ale. I can't seem to find a style for it, but I don't care.
Bohemian Pils, caramunich III, Vienna and Toasted Wheat Flakes.
WLP036 Dusseldorf/Alt
Hallertauer and Magnum

I find this yeast really, really clean at 17 C.

Well, I usually boil 90 min but forgot this time. Some brewers say it doesn't matter anymore if you have a good vigorous boil. I have boiled 60 min in the past and it was fine.

Going to pull a double brew day this weekend. Doing a toy soldier Stout and a dark mild. Using American ale wlp001 for the Stout because I have some, and a thames river ale I for the mild, ordered it today, hopefully be here by Friday. Or does the wlp001 turn out clean enough that I could use it in the mild and really let the maltyness sHine through?
