Jonah,

Where are you browsing from when you see that? Trusted wifi at home? WiFi somewhere else like an internet cafe? Using the data plan on your phone? Everywhere?

The "worst" you should ever see is something like the attached picture. The reason it says that is because some images (ie: user Avatars/Icons, images people post from photobucket, etc, and the pictures that they attach in their signatures) are not hosted on the CanadianHomeBrewers.com server, but rather linked in from another picture.

All this to say that the "website" (text/messages/code/data/etc) is encrypted and from a "trusted safe" server, but that those specific images are not. Nothing to usually be concerned about.

Now, the red warning you're getting is a bad thing. Could you please click advanced and see if you can post more details?

Update:

Actually... scrap all that.

Does the problem happen when you browse to https://canadianhomebrewers.com/ AND https://www.canadianhomebrewers.com or just one/the other?

The first link is the only one to pop that warning. I'll have to switch my bookmarks to include the www.

I see the warning on mobile data AND any wifi I'm on. Home, guest and work wifi.
I've never understood the policy against "necro threads" on almost every forum. Why tell us to use the search function for a particular topic, then complain when an older thread has a new post in it?

Okay, thanks for the update. I'll see if there's something I can do to fix it.

OK.

Until I get the discrepancy figured out I've disabled forced secure browsing. Those experiencing errors can use http://www.canadianhomebrewers.com

Those not experiencing problems can use https://www.canadianhomebrewers.com

Hope to have it resolved soon folks. Thanks for your patience.

I havnt been able to access canadianhomebrewers for the last week, my security tells me this site has an invalid security certificate with no issuer chain provided, warning says that this is not the site you are trying to access and someone may have highjacked the site and are redirecting you to steal passwords or other info.

this morning is the 1st time that this warning has not come up in over a week, so, i hope all is well, i am a real worry wort when it comes to online security and personal info being stolen.

It didnt matter where i was trying to get on the site from any device , i got the same message on firefox as well as google.

Myself personally, only saw the warning on my Samsung Grand Prime. If it helps to figure things out, my computer runs Windows 10, and I never saw the warning on Google Chrome. I DID see the green padlock from Chrome.
