Hammond River Brewing
Finally, construction of my nano brewery started today. Door frame was built today to accommodate a 36" steel door. My system and control panel isn't scheduled to arrive until sometime in July, but I want to have the brewery built by the time it gets here. Electrician is coming tomorrow to wire everything up. After the electrician is finished, up will go the walls and ceiling, which all need to meet fire code. I'm just glad that some things are finally getting done!

Re: Hammond River Brewing
Are you putting in a steel door because it will lead outside? or is this in your basement and you just like big beefy steel man doors?

Re: Hammond River Brewing
It's in my basement, but I need a steel door and steel frame to meet fire code. I need to have a one hour separation between my brewery and the rest of my house in order to meet fire code and get my Provincial brewing license.

Oh the regulations....
Re: Hammond River Brewing
I'm thinking those regulations will end up costing you more than your shiny new brewing equipment

Hahaha, yeah it kinda looks like it eh?
I got two more pieces of equipment purchased today. I picked up commercial double stainless steel tub sink today from a local restaurant. It's a $1500 sink that I got for $420 so I'm pretty happy. I also ordered a 900 CFM stainless steel hood range for my ventilation system. One by one, things are starting to happen.

Re: Hammond River Brewing
The electrician came yesterday to wire my brewery for my 50a control panel from Kal at the electric brewery. Up next is will be to have the walls and ceiling done with fire coded drywall.
